Car Rental Corfu

Age Requirements

Renters / Drivers must be 21 years old for car groups A, B, C and 25 for other car groups. Under the age of 21, there is an extra charge for insurance coverage.

Driving License

All drivers must hold a valid driving license for at least 2 year. If you hold a NON-EU driving license please contact us.

Necessary documentation for rent

The necessary documentation for rent includes :Driving license, Passport or ID Card, Mobile and Email – Credit Card or (WITHOUT Credit Card: from 150€ deposit in cash or with any type of Card for Silver Insurance Coverage).

Minimum Rental Period

One day. Every hour in excess is calculated at 1/5 of the daily rate.

Fuel

Our clients are responsible for fuel.

Deposit

No Deposit is required.

Delivery & Collection

Corfu International Airport & Corfu Port delivery is free of charge. Deliveries to all other locations are charged.

Car Drop Off

The renter is obligated to drop off the car at the time, the date and the place written on the contract.

Availability

Issues in delivery services may lead us to supply another vehicle from the originally selected in some cases.

Payment

Payment at the time of booking: Pay by credit card.

Payment upon arrival: Pay by cash, credit card, or debit card.

Baby Seat

Available on request with a daily charge of 4€.

Booster Seat

Available on request with a daily charge of 3€.

GPS Navigator

Available on request with a daily charge of 7€.

Additional Driver

A second driver can be added for a daily charge of 4€.

Taxes & VAT

VAT 24% included in website prices

Third-Party Insurance

The Coverage of all Vehicles regarding damages against third parties is in all Contract Prices as it is mandatory by Greek Law.

Insurance Exemptions

• If you have not been added to the rental agreement as an additional driver
• Interior damages
• Loss or Detriment of the vehicle’s child seats, jack, safety triangle, spare wheel, petrol cap
• Theft due to keys being left in the vehicle (negligence)
• Engine damage by wrong fuel
• Loss of Keys or stolen
• Driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol
• Damages due to inappropriate driving or negligence
• Driving off-road

Traffic & Parking Fines

All traffic fines and appended administrative sanctions that may result from any violation of the Greek Traffic Law during the rental period are paid by the renter.

Off-Road Driving

Driving the car on a non-asphalt road is prohibited.

Ferrying Vehicle Policy

All of our vehicles are not permitted to leave Corfu Island without prior written permission from Car4you. Please note that in that case, the vehicle is not covered by insurance or road assistance.

In Case of Accident

The renter is responsible for reporting the accident to the Traffic Police and Car4you immediately. Moreover, the renter must provide our Car Rental Company with the accident report signed.

Collision Damage Waiver (CDW)

Collision Damage Waiver is included in all cars free of charge. Potential damage to tires, wheels, underside the car and all glass parts including mirrors are excluded from our coverage.

Silver Insurance Package ( S.C.D.W)

Full Damage Waiver (FDW) insurance covers potential damage to tires, wheels and glass parts with an extra daily charge from 7€. Damages to the interior, mirrors, loss or damage of antennae, and wheel covers are being charged. The amount from 150 euros is the maximum liability.

Full Insurance Package ( ZERO Risk)

With this Premium Insurance, you are fully covered for any liability of vehicle. The excess goes to ZERO with a daily charge from 10€.

• All cars are fully checked and serviced
• Cars are cleaned and disinfected
• 24-hour road assistance and emergency/helpline
• In case of breakdown, the company is obliged to replace the vehicle within 24hrs
